Mandy’s Private 1:2:1 sessions are a Wonderful Way of Working out, Especially If You Have Special Needs, Injuries, or Just Want Personalised Attention! Her hands on approach makes sure that you gain a personal understanding so that you can take it into daily life and really feel the benefits.
All classes contain a full body workout using various Pilates Props & apparatus & the Pilates Reformer bed. Using spring-loaded resistance, strong abdominal, leg and arm workout.
First class is an initial assessment where Mandy will undergo a full health check on you. Then set some realistic goals. After 2 or 3 sessions a solid program will be set for what your body needs. This will include homework exercises for you to keep up the continual results.
Private Sessions are 1 hour long and held at Dynamic Pilates Studio, 33 Pittwater Rd, Manly, NSW 2095. Cost is $100 per session.
Mandy is very passionate about the practice and helping others, whether that is to move properly, improve fitness or recover from an injury.
On the technical side. She is a fully certified, Level 3 Body Control Pilates teacher & A Fully Certified Balance & Control Studio/Reformer Pilates Teacher and am on the Register of Exercise Professionals (Level 3). She also has a BA (hon’s) Degree. Mandy has been practicing this wonderful method for almost 9 years now in various countries around the world. Her previous work in the corporate world. She suffered from bad posture and back ache with long demanding office hours. Pilates fixed this and hence the inspiration and passion
For someone who didn’t feel like I needed a break, this weekend helped me delve into deeper into relaxation and calmness. Amazing! Three lovely knowledgeable ladies, beautiful food, unreal surroundings, I loved the small group. I will be back!

Pilates training with Mandy controlled my lower back pain. I spent 4 months on Physiotherapy with no result and I couldn’t get the same result in group classes without Mandy’s instructions, her passion and attention to my bodies specific needs. Mandy is a really great at what she does she is so passionate about helping people it really shines through. With my one on one sessions with Mandy I was really impressed how she instantly pointed out my strengths and weakness. I felt relaxed, balanced and strong afterwards.
6 months ago I found myself with intense lower back pain and a bulging disc - the result of a combination of moving from 12 years as a paramedic to a desk job, lots of running, 2 kids and loss of core strength. My chiropractor referred me to Mandy. I can not recommend Mandy highly enough. One on one sessions have made such a difference. My posture has improved, my core strength is returning and I've discovered long forgotten muscles. I've built a repertoire of exercises to do at home and my running has improved. Mandy is an absolute gem and you will definitely get results

Pilates with Mandy is the perfect flo my body and mind needs. After herniating my disk last year getting back into the swing of exercise, without the fear of injury, was big for me and Mandy’s private sessions and group workshops were the perfect way to start. I’ve learnt more about my body and my back in the last couple of months than in all the years I have spent with trainers and in gyms. If you have ever considered Pilates then Mandy is your gal. I have spent time with her on my own injury and after each session I become more and more aware of how vital her sessions are in the management of my own lower back condition. An amazing introduction to yoga and the best views I’ve ever had for Pilates – it won’t ever be the same at the studio! I can not recommend Mandy highly ‘enough’! I have seen many Pilates instructors over the years but by far Mandy is an extreme professional in every single aspect of what she does. She goes above and beyond – to take the time to assess and teach each person as the unique individual that they are, baring in mind that every ‘body’ is different and complex, and so is treated accordingly. I have some ‘interesting’ issues within the structure of my body, whereby some seemingly ‘simple’ Pilates movements can stirr up old injuries – however, in every session with Mandy she took on board each and every ‘little’ piece of information that I gave her to work with, and taught me in a way that worked for me and my unique situation. It is not often that somebody would A) take the time to do so and B) would have the world of knowledge, experience and expertise to work with cases such as mine’ An absolute ‘5’ Star!

Sensational weekend!! Mandy and Leah you have outdone yourself. Thank you so much for creating such an amazing weekend. I have loved every bit of it. I am sitting here about to leave feeling rejuvenated, happy, content and so relaxed (and quite a bit sore, but a good ouchy). I have done it all. Exercised hard, eaten well, incredible yoga and so many wonderful workshops.

‘What a great idea to offer regular exercise without leaving your office side. I’m not a big fan of gym and constantly struggle to find time to exercise on my own with job and family taking over as priority. The Flo classes are almost like great takeaway delivered to your doorstep with no excuse to skip it. The level of offered exercises and tempo is well structured and each lesson brings on nice combination of hard work out and relaxation. I’m always looking forward to. It is a great form of team building and opportunity to connect with your colleagues. For anyone working in sitting position for most of the day yoga/pilates bring on huge health benefit. I am a fifty three year old nurse, recently retired after thirty five years . Mandy is an excellent teacher. She has small classes, and gives lots of individual attention. She puts an emphasis on technique, and ensures that everyone works according to their own ability. I feel safe in the knowledge that I will not injure myself as she pays attention to what each person is doing.I developed psoriatic arthritis in my late twenties.It affected my spine, hands and feet, causing pain, swelling and stiffness. The benefits of Pilates for me were immediately apparent. No more pain after exercise. My posture and strength improved. Since I started practicing Pilates I have been able to reduce the amount of pain killers that I take. I feel much more able to cope with my Arthritis now.I would recommend Mandy to anyone who enjoys exercise, but especially to those who have health issues that make them wary of conventional group classes. Practicing Pilates has changed my whole understanding of exercise. It has also improved my life in so many ways!
